Izzy's Senior portraits at Family Farm & NCMA
What a perfect way to kick off my Class of 2026 seniors! Izzy’s session was such a joy from start to finish. We began on her family’s gorgeous farm in Knightdale, which made the most meaningful backdrop, not only is it a beautiful setting, but it’s also a place full of her memories. Her dad’s classic truck was a must for the session, and it added such a fun, personal touch to her photos.
After exploring the farm, we headed over to the NCMA in Raleigh for golden hour magic. The timing was just right to catch those dreamy sunset tones, and we even squeezed in a little blue hour glow before wrapping up. On one of the hottest days in August, Izzy never missed a beat, she was all smiles, so natural in front of the camera, and totally up for anything I suggested.
Izzy, you were an absolute star to photograph! I can already tell you’re going to make the most of senior year, and I’m wishing you all the fun, excitement, and amazing memories this season brings.
There’s something about photographing seniors in a place they love!
And then there are beautiful locations like the NCMA, where we can create an entirely different feel that captures the style and vibe the senior wants.
I have a soft spot for blue hour in an open field!
